Array Web + Creative is a young, energetic creative & marketing agency located in Nanaimo. We are now hiring a part-time administrative assistant to help out during a one-year maternity leave. This job is perfect for a person with some administrative experience, who is looking for a growth opportunity.

Starting Salary: $14.00 / hour
Hours: Part time, 20-30 hours per week, Mon-Fri, between 8:30am and 4:30pm (some flexibility available for chosen working hours). We are closed all stat holidays. 

Some of the daily tasks you will perform and desired skills include:
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal & written 
  • Self-directed with attention to detail
  • Answering multi-line phone system - taking messages & booking meetings when required
  • Greeting clients & guests
  • Creating invoices & sending payment requests directly to clients
  • Recurring billing management & follow-up
  • Payment processing & posting - bank deposits
  • Follow-up on past due accounts
  • Office cleanliness & errands - purchasing office supplies (access to a car desirable)
  • Shipping coordination for various packages
  • Organizing & planning staff events
  • Managing petty cash
  • Content insertion on websites 
  • Content management system support & training with clients
  • Account management & digital marketing support
  • Other miscellaneous support tasks as required for various teams within Array

Training will be offered, but experience in some of these areas is preferred. Most importantly, we are looking for a person with the right attitude & personality to fit in with our fun, creative team!
